Gene construction

|
Sequence design and gene analysis are only performed by highly skilled scientists with longtime experience.1
Our genes are assembled from synthetic oligonucleotides produced in-house with the highest level of sequence accuracy.
For most applications, we use a PCR-based gene assembly strategy which is covered by a Roche license.2
All genes will be cloned into one of our standard cloning vectors. 3, 5
All genes will be checked by in-house sequence verification. Only 100% correct sequences will be shipped.4
Final quality control is performed by a separate QM unit. A detailed synthesis report including plasmid map (gb files), sequence alignment and restriction map will be provided.6 |
- Gene optimization and analysis are based on our proprietary GeneOptimizer® software.
- The DNA molecules are produced via Polymerase Chain Reaction under license (F. Hoffmann-La Roche Ltd).
- GENEART reserves the right to deliver sequences in any appropriate cloning vector. No responsibility can be accepted for the presence or absence of restriction sites, antibiotic markers, promoters or other sequence elements in the vector backbone.
- GENEART guarantees a 100% match between the synthesized sequence and the customer sequence ordered and confirmed.
- As some sequences turn out to be toxic and/or genetically unstable in a small number of cases, the quoted turnaround times only apply to sequences which are non-toxic for and genetically stable in E. coli. In exceptional cases, a reduced quantity of toxic fragments may be supplied, in cloned fragments or as quality-controlled linear DNA.
- The GENEART gene synthesis process is fully DIN EN ISO 9001:2000 certified. Our internal quality management system covers gene optimization, gene synthesis, DNA sequencing and sales, ensuring reliability and reproducibility for our customers.
